Dear Editors:

Thank you for mentioning the participation of “equal rights organizations and churches” 
in your June 7 coverage of Fargo’s first pride parade.  Religious support for equal rights 
of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people in general and the participation of faith 
organizations in pride parades in particular have historically been underreported or 
completely ignored by many newspapers.  The improvement reflected in your article is 
extremely heartening.
